My Story

My own path here wasn't a straight line. I started out working in hospitality, where I learned firsthand what it takes to keep customers happy and a business running day to day, often behind the scenes and always on your feet. That experience pulled me into digital marketing, where I spent years helping companies get found online and turn traffic into real customers.

Somewhere along the way, I noticed the businesses that needed the most help were the ones spending all day doing the actual work: running a shop, managing a crew, taking care of customers, with little time left to think about their website. That's why I started Berner Built: to give hands-on business owners the same kind of professional online presence the big companies have, without the agency price tag or the runaround.

These days, that experience shapes how I run Berner Built. I handle every project myself, from the first phone call to the day your site goes live, so nothing gets lost between what you need and what actually gets built. There's no account manager passing you off to a design team you never talk to. Having spent years on both sides, doing the hands-on work and trying to market it, I know what actually matters to a business owner: a site that loads fast, is easy for customers to use, and brings in real leads, not just one that looks nice in a portfolio.
